Email Communications

If you sign up for the Sage Wisdom Nutrition newsletter (Ponderings + Pathways), your email address will only be used to share reflections, updates, and resources related to this work.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each email.

Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policies

Sage Wisdom Nutrition provides services that may include individual sessions, group offerings, digital products, and professional supervision.

The following details will be finalized once confirmed:

• Cancellation or no-show policy: Missed or canceled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full cash rate and billed to the card on file, as insurance does not cover missed visits. Arriving more than 10 minutes late is considered a missed appointment and subject to the same fee, while shortened sessions due to late arrival or early departure may incur prorated charges based on time missed. This policy is in place to honor the clinician’s time and ensure appointment availability for other clients seeking care. Repeated missed recurring appointments without notice or communication may result in cancellation of future appointments and closure of the current episode of care, with rescheduling subject to availability.
• Payment expectations and timing: If insurance information is not provided prior to your initial intake, services will be billed at the full cash rate, and you are responsible for any charges not covered by insurance. Clients are responsible for keeping insurance information up to date; denied or rejected claims due to outdated information will become the client’s responsibility. For out-of-network services, payment is due at the time of service, and a superbill will be provided for potential reimbursement, though reimbursement is not guaranteed. Cash rates are due at the time of service, accounts past due may be charged or sent to collections per policy, and all services are non-refundable; limited sliding scale pricing may be available upon request.
• Refund policies for:
  
  • Individual sessions: No refunds for services rendered. 
  • Groups or courses: Generally, we do not offer refunds, but we want you to be satisfied with your experience. Please keep in mind we cannot control the atmosphere of each group. However, we try our best to cultivate a meaningful and inclusive space for people to explore the concepts of this work.  If you are unsatisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your purchase and we can discuss the situation. Any refunds will be subject to a $50 administrative service fee. 
  • Digital downloads: No refunds for digital downloads provided. 
  • Supervision or consultation: No refunds for services rendered. 

Specific policies will be communicated during onboarding and may vary by service.

Notice of Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, individuals who are uninsured or self-pay have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for healthcare services.

A Good Faith Estimate will be provided upon request before services begin. If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
